*Ultraviolet light exposure depletes up to two-thirds of your skin's Vitamin C stores. These levels can not be re-obtained by ingestion of Vitamin C! They can only be reached with a topical application. Topical Vitamin C provides more than twenty times the amount of Vitamin C found in normal skin, so extremely high percentages are quite wasteful and will not be absorbed and utilized.
